Welcome To The Altside Business Village
Altside Business Village Partnership is an innovative partnership between Sefton Council, the Local Councils and the Local Business Community, established to improve the business economy throughout East Sefton and support business in the key areas of:-
- Providing assistance, services and support to business
- Generating consumer spending through events and tourism
- Implementing projects and improvements
- Promoting a brand in this diverse area
There are currently 6 Business Village Partnerships (BVPs) in the Borough, the largest and the longest established being Altside, Bootle and Southport.
BVPs are more than a networking group! They provide:-
- A dynamic and effective forum for the planning and execution of initiatives and improvements
- A united voice for the business community
- An important bridge between Stakeholders and the local Council, maximising the planning, consultation and decision-making process
- An all-inclusive approach encompassing business, public sector, the voluntary sector and the local community
BVPs are totally independent organisations led by their Stakeholders and working for the good of their area or town centre. Each has a Manager who is responsible for co-ordinating the activities of the Partnership and taking forward agreed projects.
